Milwaukee Cooking Connections

Date: March 16, 2016 - categories: , - 1 Comment

Cooking together always forms links. In Milwaukee, our cooking class in the Milwaukee Catholic Home kitchen, connected various generations of students of DSHA, my own Milwaukee high school (at that time, Holy Angels Academy). Certainly appropriate to re-connect with others from DSHA cooking up Italian: the seeds were planted there with an excellent academic education. The University of Santa Clara, junior year abroad in Rome, and studies at UCB after SCU graduation were all other steps. Leading to my life today in Assisi, in the region of Umbria.

Mille grazie, DSHA – and to each of you other alum for joining together to feast on Umbrian rural cuisine.
Thanks, too, to Ann D (from DSHA) and Anne C (Milwaukee Catholic Home – and DSHA and SCU grad, too!) for hosting us – and for including dear friends, Dr. John and Sue and Bill and Rita.
Belllissimo! Stupendo!

…and here we are, connecting over Umbrian goodness:
