Valerie and Ann gathered together a happy group for a Seattle cooking class just a few days ago, some were friends of theirs and others were people who had contacted me requesting a class.
No better way to connect than slicing, dicing, whipping and mixing! Our dinner of four antipastos, a pasta dish, main course, side dish and dessert came together in just two hours in the midst of animated conversation and laughter.
Mille grazie, hosts Valerie and Ann, and to all of you who so enthusiastically participated!
…and here is a comment from my host, Valerie:
“Thanks so much for …our class in Seattle. You are a treasure and I would like you to do it again next year!”
Guests wrote this:
“What a find! Great food, easy cooking and GREAT tips! You are a delight!” Ann
“Thank you so much for sharing your talent with us. Great food, good people…great fun!” Diane
Ah, I detect broccoli topping on the bruschetta (and what a fabulous, happy photo), the chopping of the chocolate for tiramisu and the savoiardi going to line the tiramisu dish – I feel as if I was there. What fond memories these photos provide.

si! bruschetta con broccoli!
How good to hear from you, Lyn!
Hope you and Ted will hop a plane soon in Sydney, heading back to la nostra bellissima Italia!
Just had dinner with our Mattia and old friends here in San Francisco: Burmese food…wonderful! Tomorrow, Mattia will be a “sous-chef” for me at a cooking class in Lagunitas, north of SF.
