We certainly brought it all together, inspite of seeing the baking sheets of toasted bread for our bruschetta slide to the floor! After all, every cooking class has a memorable moment! (Dorri, did you make the run to the store for us for more bread? Mille grazie!) Thanks, Lynn, for co-ordinating in the kitchen. Thanks to you, Katie and Joseph, for adding the enthusiasm of the “younger set” to our evening!

From my host, Karen: “What a wonderful time we had cooking with you! We had the oppportunity to recreate the spirit of our trip and expose others to Umbrian cooking as well. Thanks for coming to our home.”
“Anne, great to see you again and indulge ourselves in the cuisine of Umbria!” Liz
“Thank you so much for the opportunity of a lifetime! Making the tiramisu was so much fun – and aside from the foods that I made, the best part of the night was learning about Italian culture. As a college student, I am constantly searching for knowledge in all areas. Thanks again for this incredibe opportunity.” Katie
“Steve and I had a wonderful time in October 2010 touring Assisi with you. Your knowledge of your beloved city is fantastic. And we had a great time cooking Umbrian cuisine here at Karen’s. We look forward to touring Umbria again with you many many times in the future.” Jenny
“Katie and I were so excited to have the chance to meet with you again. The food was awesome and the learning experience was wonderful.” Sue
