With Francesco Cafiso in Perugia, 2004: he was younger -..and so was I!
I missed phenomenal young Sicilian jazz sax player Francesco Cafisso this year but my meeting with him in 2004 – when his wailing sax took the Perugia rooftops off at age 15 – was memorable.
I was sorry to have missed him this year – but glad we made an Umbria Jazz highlight: Santana.
