Cooking with the TEMPO women in Madison, Wisconsin is always a joy: and this year, too. (Our third or forth year, signore?) What lively chatter and interaction as we cooked in a “dream of a kitchen” – and afterwards at table as each woman shared with me tidbits on their lives and professions. What a range: from UW professor to banking to finance/psychology consulting to state government work to chocolate-making to a family bourbon business! Bourbon sips, in fac,t after our class and a bit of “bourbon education.” And….bourbon joined the white wine in our amaretti-stuffed baked apples!
