I want you to experience the Umbria I have come to know and love in over forty years here on the land, just outside Assisi.
Live Umbria, “Italy’s green heart,” from the inside. Live our splendid early May medieval festival, Calendimaggio with me, with “the locals.”
Enjoy the photos of our May 2016 “Inside Umbria” tour guests:
(Carol, glad you shared in the medieval splendor of Calendimaggio – and thanks for your memorable photos:)

Meet our rural friends.
Cook an Umbrian feast with me in our farmhouse (so lovingly restored by Pino).
Enjoy staying in our countryside – or in-town – apartments during this ten-day early May “celebration.”
Promising you an unforgettable experience.
Just ask Carol and Roger from New York:
“We really have experienced “Anne’s Italy”! The hlltowns are much more precious and personal when seen through Anne’s eyes. The Caledimaggio was much more exciting with Anne cheering on Sopra over Sotto.
Umbrian farms and foods, craftmen and artists, sweeping views and cobbled lanes are all familiar to us now. Thank you Anne for sharing your wonderful world with us.”
I’m now fine-tuning the May 2017 adventure a bit but I won’t be changing the 2016 inaugural “Inside Umbria Celebration” itinerary. There’s nothing to replace, nothing I can leave out.
Can’t come next May? Delighted to personalize an “Inside Umbria” experience for you and family or friends. Our apartments – in Assisi, in the countryside- can accommodate up to twelve.

It was a wonderful trip from beginning to end. Don’t leave anything out next May. My favorite events were Calendimaggio and the visits to the farms on the last day.
What beautiful pictures!! I always learn about something new from your newsy postings! My brother Ray and his wife were just over in Perugia visiting colleagues from work and commented about what a beautiful area they were in. They both work in genetics at the University of Washington in Seattle. They didn’t make it to Assisi, but want to come back someday. The total charm of the Umbrian region is something I will never forget.
