“I want to write about all the beauty that surrounded me when I arrived and the sound of the goats and donkeys in the background as we got out of the car. I want to write about entering our spacious two bedroom apartment and how beautifully the table was set, the fresh eggs, flowers and fruit that was put there for us, and all the amenities. I want to share with your readers how amazing each day started with the sky fully lit at 5 in the morning and how the sunlight filled my bedroom. I want to write about flinging the windows open and looking at the countryside filled with mountains, fruit trees and wild poppies. I will share the experience of going to Giovannino and practicing English with Fabio. And, naturally, I want to share how you took such good care of us by arranging all our tours, checking in with the tour guides, touching bases with us each evening about our day, and extending an invitation to us to dine with your friends so we could experience an authentic rural dinner.”
