“We head home with the starry sky of this enchanting place in our eyes and in our hearts….and above all, the true cordiality of Anna made this vacation unforgettable. To travel is above all, to meet people and how lucky we have been!!”
Rossella, mille grazie once again for your note to us the day you left here in late December, 2019. I was thinking about you and Sergio, little Davide and all the family……..
…..as I was passing our rental apartment where your family spent last Christmas….
……. on my way to visit our goats.
These days, I often start the morning, with a visit to our goats: I have lots of time to drop by, feed them fistfuls of fresh grass…..
….and take photos of the newborn kids.
These “goat visits” certamente ward off any CPA (Coronavirus Panic Attack).
Davide, how I wish you were here to join me. I have fond memories of you feeding the goats….
……and Pino lifting you up near their manger so that you could see them munch their hay:
I remember the day you all left, Davide, and how you stopped with Michele and Rosaria to bid “arrivederci” to our goats.
Our Maremanno shepherd, Lamone, raised his paw to you at your good-byes as if begging you to stay:
I missed a photo of you with the cat, Miga, the day you left…but thanks for sketching her in our guest book:
May we all connect again one day, post-lockdown.
