There’s no better link than cooking together – and then feasting together. And no better reunion: hosts Jeff and Debbie, remember our first meeting in Assisi during our stupendous medieval May festival, Calendimaggio? Mille grazie for deciding on a cooking class in your Austin home as the perfect way to re-connect. And with such an ebullient group of enthusiastic cooking friends and relatives.

Good times, cooking and eating with Debbie and Jeff
What an honor to have a top professional chef joining in on the slicing and dicing, mixing and stirring – and thanks, Peter, for your comment, end of class:
“You run a tight ship! Thank you for sharing your recipes and insights with us. I look forward to connecting in Italy in October…” Peter

Chef Peter cooking up Umbrian rural cuisine – ( and soon to cook in Tuscany!)
Ally, you and Peter made a winning culinary duo and see you soon in Umbria. Thanks for your note to me: “It was amazing meeting you….(and) hope to see you in October. Thank you for an amazing experience.” See you both at our Assisi farmhouse in October when Peter cooks in nearby Tuscany. I’ll take you both to meet Peppa and cook with her!

…and as each of you Austin cooks know now, Peppa’s (as for all Italians) favorite quantity in any dish is “Q.B.”, i.e., “quanto basta” (“as much as you need”). Megan summed up our “Q.B. cooking night”:
“……A most fabulous meal and lovely company. Q.B. forever!”
“Livin’, laughin’, lovin’ – what a great evening,” was how Austin so aptly described our Debbie/Jeff culinary celebration. Same thought in other words from host Jeff: “Super fun evening with you and friends – Always good with people you love….we will do it again – maybe here, maybe there in Italy. .” You’ll see – and feel – the” laughin’” and “lovin” of this joyous group it in the various photos….
Thanks to each for uniting to cook up the Umbrian goodness. Yes, may we do it again: here or there!
..and your comments are most appreciated.
