…or at least, cook with me! Amy and Fred, Lat and Kathy, sorry Pino missed cooking up Umbrian goodness with us – but he certainly enjoyed our rabbit cacciatore for at dinner that night!

Before we cooked our rabbit, we bought it from the local butcher

And in the meantime, enjoy these mementos of our “cooking adventure”:
Before cooking together, to the cheese shop to buy our cheeses……
…and then on to the butcher
…and then, back to our farmhouse to cook (Fred on the Sicilian peperonata)

Diced fresh tomatoes next..
On the stove, fresh tomato sauce and peppers simmer
Lat squeezes out the seeds of the tomatoes (under water) for our fresh tomato sauce
Fred purèes our tomato sauce as Lat works on the peach tiramisu
Salting up zucchini and eggplant from our garden before frying to top off our tomato sauce……
For dessert, peach tiramisu topped with crushed amaretti……
…and our chickens enjoyed all the vegetale and fruit parings….
You all cooked up a feast……
