February 4th is just around the corner: D-day for me: “Departure Day”. My U.S. cooking lessons/lectures tour starts in Los Angeles again this year – and then I’ll be cooking in Seattle, Portland, San Francisco and Phoenix. Houston follows…..and then on to the Midwest (Chicago). I’ll lecture at MIT in Boston – and also cook in the area. I’ll have a Connecticutu stop – and my 2011 our winds up in Washington, D.C.
I look forward to seeing family and old friends, meeting new friends, and sharing the goodness of Umbria once again……..but we won’t be making frittatas this time around! I remember the good times we had last year at a Los Angeles area class as I affronted frittata flipping in the biggest frying pan I have ever held. View the video here.
And here is a video from my Youtube Channel showing how to make a wild asparagus frittata:

Ciao Anne,
With great pleasure I have read many of your posts on Italiannotebook.com
I opened your website to investigate your cooking classes in Umbria and am delighted to see that you will be lecturing at MIT on March 11. My husband and I live in Newton, MA..1/2 hour from MIT. I could not find details re. the MIT lecture…where, time, etc. I’d appreciate your pointing me in the direction of where I might find this info or – simply email it to me.
I’d love to take a cooking class in Italy. I have been studying Italian for over 10 years and feel a class that is taught in Italian would benefit me both by way of learning Italian – and – cooking. Do you ever teach in Italian?
I look forward to hearing from you.
