…(and) who would have thought a chance meeting would lead to such a fabulous dinner?” Denise wrote to me after a cooking class in her Spring, Texas home. And yes, it all did start with a chance meeting a couple years ago in an Assisi cafe’.
That “chance meeting” led to Denise and husband Greg’s advice to son Chris to book me for an Assisi tour. Parental advice taken: I enjoyed sharing Umbrian wonders with Chris and his wife, Sharon during their Italy vacation last year. Babysitters for their two little ones? i nonni, Denise and Greg. Chris came up with an original idea to thank his parents: an Umbrian rural cooking class in their home in Spring, Texas. What a perfect way for all of us to re-unite: cooking up Umbrian goodness together
Glad you all enjoyed our cooking -and-feasting evening as much as I did: “Annie, such a wonderful evening. The food was fantastic. Can’t wait to do it again!” Greg wrote.
