Cactus like sentinels on the rolling hills outside and Navajo and Hopi art surrounding us inside: a western setting this time for our Umbrian cooking class in Suzi and Dick’s lovely Tucson home. And this is always one of the joys of my US tours: not just meeting so many wonderful people but enjoying the varieties of my surroundings, too.
Native American art everywhere in Suzi and Dick’s Tucson home:
This cooking class at Suzi and Dick’s was first meeting for many, but you never would have know it: what link-ups as we sliced and diced and stirred and whisked, all together.
And Choppy, honored to have you with us to enjoy the food with such a good appetite: the best compliment to all the wonderful cooks. And Choppy, at 93, you take the prize for “guest seniority” at my cooking events!
Enjoy the photos of our good times cooking up an Umbrian feast in an Arizona setting:
…and thanks to each for your comments on our culinary evening:
“So fun a time! Glad you came to share our home. Thanks for all the wonderful info and food ideas!” Suzi and Dick
“Thank you for your time and expertise! Loved the history as much as the food!!” Carol
“What better for a wonderful evening than sharing good food with good friends – delizioso!” Ann with Dave and Robert (aka “Choppy”)
“Excellent food, conversation and company.” Watson
“Interesting evening and first time making tiramisu – fun!” Lynn
And do enjoy Doug and Carol’s photos, too:
Great pictures! It looks like you all had a fun time. Thanks for sharing!
