Sherry and Karl, mille grazie for inviting me again to Herndon to cook with you – and Emily, glad you joined us this year!
You were right there with us, all the way, from mixing the green beans and potaoes the right way (with your hands!)…
…to teaming with your Mom on peeling oranges for our macedonia
…to slicing the grapes for the same dish…
….and thanks for your comments, Emily:
“I liked making the mash potatoes (sic) and green beans.” Emily, age 8, 3rd grade
And thanks to each of you who joined in the cooking of our tasty dinner – of Umbrian foods with Sicilian additions. Good to connect again with many of you who had been in the Sherry and Carl’s class last year and I enjoyed connecting with “new cooks.”
Mille grazie to each of you for your enthusiasm:
