“…a fabulous evening of good friends, good food, and a little garlic,” is how co-host Diane summed up our delightful Potomac cooking evening, adding “Everyone in our group has told me they thought the evening was fantastic. We all bonded and are much closer than before. The men also had a wonderful time getting to know each other and being served the antipasti. Thank you for enabling this perfect evening.”
…and Diane, to think you put this evening together (with c-host Connie) the day after you cooked in your friend Paulette’s class!
Co-bhost Connie, mille grazie to both you and Dave for welcoming us into your home! I am so grateful for your comment summing up our event as “an authentically Italian evening”:
“The activity in my kitchen the night of the cooking classI transported me back to my childhood with my aunts and my mother preparing holiday meals or maybe just Sunday dinner. I grew up in a first generation Italian-America family. The focus and the conversation was always on food. Your Italian cooking class was right on and I had a wonderful evening as did all the other participants. Thanks, Anne, for an authentically Italian evening.”
And the company was divine as Caroline put it: “Great gathering, cooking was awesome and the company divine. Thank you so much.”
And here’s Caroline on the job:
Connie and Dave, mille grazie for opening your Potomac home to our “divine” group. Connie, good to hear about your Italian heritage as we connected while slicing and dicing.
Paula, most happy to meet you while cooking and I appreciated your comment on the class: “Thank you for sharing your expertise with us.”
Regina, glad you joined in the good times and your feedback appreciated:
“The food was only exceeded by the fun company and our outstanding chef/instructor. Wonderful gathering!…”
Debbie, delighted you were part of our “cooking crew” and thanks for your note: “Ray and I so appreciate this wonderful evening of friendships and delicious food. Thank you, Annie, for sharing some of your menus and Italian cooking tips… so appreciated all you shared and all of the delicious tastes!”
Betty, thanks for being part of the team and Jimmy, glad you were there to drain the pasta! Betty, appreciated your note: “Wonderful time (and) you have had a wonderful life. Jimmy loved helping also!”
Barbara, makes me happy to know that you enjoyed the food as well as my talk on Italy prior to our cooking: “What wonderful food and your very interesting recollections of Italy.”
Thanks to all of you for making this Potomac cooking class such a memorable one.
Yes, truly divine.
